From our Pastor:
Hope United Parish is a geographical parish affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Each member church shares the pastoral staff and resources to fulfill our mission.
Hope United Parish Mission Statement:
“To fulfill Christ’s great commission: To go forth and make disciples of all peoples though worship, service, and ministry to others in our community and throughout the world.”
Scriptures teach us that Jesus Christ is THE Good
Shepherd, and just like sheep who hear and follow the shepherd we want
to follow our shepherd and we pray that we can confess like David in
Psalm 23 that ‘The Lord is MY shepherd, I shall not be in want.’ We have a
lot happening and we are always looking for new ways to reach
out to
others with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Sunday Worship, Circle Bible
Studies, Men’s Group, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Quilters and Quilt Class,
Sunday School
for youth preschool through 8th, Confirmation instruction for 7th & 8th
graders, and youth mission trips. Bethlehem supports a missionary in
Turkey. For many of us, our congregation becomes like extended family
--- we rejoice together and we support each other when life is hard.
Come and join us! We are a welcoming people and there is always room for more.
